Wow. I just finished the novel of Frankenstein and it was great. I was glad to finally that the Monster was not evil. Well he did kill four people, but it was for love. All he ever wanted was love. When Victor made him, if he would of showed him love, the Monster might have been a help to the city of Geneva. The Monster killed the human beings because that treated him like crap and with no respect. They just saw him and assumed that he was some creep and wanted to hurt them. But really deep inside the Monster wanted love and friends. He felt alone and wanted someone to be with. Victor instead made him for just some expierement, and then forgot about him. I wish that the book would have had Victor love the Monster, and then we could of saw the help the Monster could of been for man kind. Do you think Victor was in the wrong for not loving the Monster?

  1. Most definitely... He should of loved his creation. I think that it is stupid when people only like someone else based upon looks. That doesnt matter as much as the 'real person'. Nice blog Brett

  2. I agree. I believe that Victor should have given the monster a chance. Instead of having the experiment end with life, I think that Victor should have furthered his research to see how the monster behaved. In the process, maybe Victor would have come to love the monster.

    Great blog, Brett!

  3. I definitely think Victor was wrong in the way he treated the monster. I felt that he should have at least tried to be nice to him but instead he was heartless and mean towards him. At times while reading the book I felt myself getting angry with Victor for the way he was acting toward the monster and felt great sadness for all that the monster had to endure.

  5. I believe that he wasn't wrong for not loving the monster, but I think he definately was wrong for hating him from the get go. He at least could've tried to give him a place in the world or show him at least a slight degree of respect. Victor could've worked the situation out much better.
