Mary Shelley and The Letters
So far in my reading, I have become fascinated in Mary Shelley's writings. It is hard to believe that she was only 18 when she wrote this novel. There is one conflict that I cant wait to see will happen. I wonder if Victor and Walton's friendship will be changed because of his wreckless ambition. Victor gets very upset everytime Walton talks about it. Thinking ahead I wonder if this will cause anymore conflicts in the book. Do you think anymore conflicts will come about because of Waltons wreckless ambitions?

Brett, this is a good question that will leave us hanging till the end. Unlike Victor, who can't really change the storm that his obsession for knowledge has created, Walton can still change. It remains to be seen whether he listens to Victor's story or not.
