Wow. I just finished the novel of Frankenstein and it was great. I was glad to finally that the Monster was not evil. Well he did kill four people, but it was for love. All he ever wanted was love. When Victor made him, if he would of showed him love, the Monster might have been a help to the city of Geneva. The Monster killed the human beings because that treated him like crap and with no respect. They just saw him and assumed that he was some creep and wanted to hurt them. But really deep inside the Monster wanted love and friends. He felt alone and wanted someone to be with. Victor instead made him for just some expierement, and then forgot about him. I wish that the book would have had Victor love the Monster, and then we could of saw the help the Monster could of been for man kind. Do you think Victor was in the wrong for not loving the Monster?

The Monsters Revenge.
Well guys while I'm reading the novel Frankenstein, it has occurred to me that maybe the Monsters revenge is too harsh. I mean getting back at Victor is one thing, but killing innocent people? If I was the Monster and wanted revenge, I would go straight to Victor and kill him. The Monster is making Victor suffer from his losses, but if the Monster really had feelings and emotions he would leave family out of it. What would you do if you were the Monster? Would you go after Victors family to make him suffer, or go straight for Victor?

Victor and his decisions
When the Monster told Victor to make him a companion Victor agreed, but had a trick up his sleeve. If I was in Victors shoes, I would of went ahead and made the companion and not risk anymore lives getting killed. Instead Victor decides to trick the Monster and tell him to pick up the cords, and eclectic cutes it. And to make matters worse he cuts off the Monsters companions head. Now this is probably the stupidest thing Victor could of did. We all now that this Monster is a beast and nothing can get in its way. When it wakes up and sees his companions head... Well we all know the Monsters way of getting back at humans...Would you have made the Monster a companion?
Dont Judge a Person on their Looks!
Well guys as we see in the novel, humans judge the Monster on his looks not his heart. When humans see the Monster they feel up with fear and violence to hurt it. The only man that gave the Monster a chance was Mr. De Lacy, which he was blind and couldn't see his ugliness. The monster and Mr. De Lace were very good friends until The De Lacy family came to meet their father and saw the Monster. From that point on the Monster wanted revenge on his creator. But can you really blame it? Victor rushed the experiment and didn't care about the looks of the Monster. After the Monster escaped and started getting emotional feelings, no one ever gave him a chance to let him show them. Inside this Monster is a lovable creature who only wants a companion to live his life with. Do you think the monster will find a human being that will accept his appearances and love him for his inner?

Victors Worries
How would you feel if you had 2 deaths that were your fault. The monster that Victor has created has killed two of his close friends (his 5 year old brother and Justine). Victor could have taken up for Justine and instead chose not to. Would you have confessed? I would have because Justine was executed when she was innocent, and if Victor would have said something maybe everyone would chip in and help catch the monster. Instead he has an innocent women killed. When Victor takes a trip the monster confronts him and invites him to his ice cave. He tells Victor his adventures and explains his obstacles. Victor sees how the monster feels, but shouldnt he kill the monster while he has a chance. This monster killed his brother and Victor is talkin to him like they are best friends! What would you do in the situation? Will the monster hurt anyone else in Victors family?
WOW. Victor built a monster from nothing. He was talented enough to put human being body parts together to create a master piece. The amazing part is the monster learns to adapt to its surroundings. The monster learned how to read! You would think that this hideous creature is a demon, but as we learn, this monster has feelings and emotions just like us. Inside the monster feels very lonely, but humans are so mean to him when they see him that he hates humans. Will his emotions inside affect Victor in the novel?

Mary Shelley and The Letters
So far in my reading, I have become fascinated in Mary Shelley's writings. It is hard to believe that she was only 18 when she wrote this novel. There is one conflict that I cant wait to see will happen. I wonder if Victor and Walton's friendship will be changed because of his wreckless ambition. Victor gets very upset everytime Walton talks about it. Thinking ahead I wonder if this will cause anymore conflicts in the book. Do you think anymore conflicts will come about because of Waltons wreckless ambitions?
